Shapiro’s natural gas claims don’t hold water | PennLive letters
Despite mounting evidence of health risks and environmental damage from fracking, Pennsylvania’s governor continues to promote natural gas as a sustainable energy solution for data centers
The only methane gas we should use or consume is the gas that comes from a sewage treatment, landfill, agricultural or animal feedlot manure pile or biomass conversion digester. Otherwise natural gas should be left in the ground. It is better to burn and use methane that let it escape into the air, as methane is more of a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, and can’t be converted by plants into celulose.
