It’s a driller’s dream, little regulation or enforcement, vast amounts of fossil fuel to be exploited. The Patagonia region of Argentina is a land of opportunity. What could possibly go wrong?

Seems like this is similar to Gasland I and II. Fracking waste water, “flowback,” or “spent” or “used water,” can not be re-used, recycled, filitered, chemically treated or made safe. Any organic chemist will tell you that once you mix VOC’s Volatile Organic Chemicals with water. YOU CAN NOT CHEMICALLY, PHYSICALLY SEPARATE THEM! They become aniscoptic mixture. The water is not safe and ruined forever! You can not distill, chemically treat or filter the chemicals out of the water. Plus the gas that comes up contains radioactive radon. That radon can not be filtered or separated from the methane that comes up back the pipe. The companies that make these fracking fluids won’t tell you or the medical care community what the contents or per centages of the chemicals are in their fracking fluids as they say they are “proprietary,” and don’t want their competitors know what their formulas are. The the chemicals that we do know are in them are toxic, cancer causing, and can cause genetic mutations which lead to cancers. So, fracking, like burning fossil fuel and nuclear power are not safe, too dangerous, too expensive and totally unnecessary for our energy needs. If you still think we need fracking for the extracting of methane as a “transition fuel,” until renewable energy is ready, I suggest you read the plans for all 50 States and over 146 foreign countries by just using solar, wind, hydroelectric and geothermal power. We will not “starve and freeze in the dark,” nor “wreck our economy in the process.” The only barrier we face is political because the dying, profit addicted, fossil fuel, centralized for profit electric and nuclear power industries have bought the votes of our elected leaders in all branches, all parties and all levels of our government, state and Federal.
