It traps solar heat, that is melting the polar ice caps, causing sea level rise, acidifying the oceans, raising the temperature of the ocean, causing more severe storms, changing fish, bird and insect migration that is leading to mass extinction.

Our policy should be a “Apollo Moon Landing Project,” to get off of all fossil fuels and transition to a renewable energy economy. “Drill baby, drill,” is suicide. “Energy dominance” will not save the planet, help people economically.
